Lancashire
Youth Association is a registered charity (No. 518147)
established in 1923 and a company limited by guarantee
(No. 2059160), governed by a Memorandum and Articles
of Association, since 1986.
The
management of the Association is vested in a Board
of Trustees who monitor and evaluate its work, with
support from sub committees and working groups.
Where
does the money come from? |

The Association is funded by a variety
of bodies, in particular: Local Authorities and
Parish Councils across Lancashire; the Big Lottery Fund;
The Rank Foundation; European Regional Development
Funds; Connexions - Lancashire; and
members' subscriptions and donations.
Who
makes the decisions?
The
Association is a membership organisation, all of whose
members (a Youth Group/Organisation or Individual Member) are entitled
to vote and elect the Trustees, who are responsible
for the Association's direction and use of resources,
at the Association's Annual General Meeting.
